You can use the Lewis Winch Tree-saver Belt to anchor the Lewis Winch to a tree. It is important to avoid causing damage to the bark of a tree, which is what happens when you use chains and rope. Remember that a tree with damaged bark is a dead tree, so be nice and use a Tree-saver Belt.

You can also use the Lewis Winch Trailer-Hitch Mount to attach our portable winch to your 2” receiver-hitch on the back of your motor vehicle.

Once securely anchored, you can easily wind in the winch cable evenly with the swivel action possible with the Trailer-Hitch Mount.

Lewis Winch also offers a Peavey Hook that attaches to the bottom of our portable winch so you can anchor it to a tree stump.

And if you need to pull something right into the box of your pick up truck, simply put a stake in one of the stake pockets or attach a chain to one of the anchor rings in the box and you will be able to pull up to 4,000 pounds straight into your truck.

If you need to pull more weight than that, or pull around corners, add a Lewis Winch Snatch Block and immediately double the pulling power to 8,000 pounds.

As a boat trailer part, the Lewis Winch can be used not only to pull your boat up on your boat trailer, but you can use it on any vehicle or trailer that you have, because it is a portable winch.

And don’t forget to load the Lewis Winch into your boat and take it with you wherever you go - because you will find a ton of uses for it!

If your boat gets stuck on a sand bar, no problem!

Simply anchor our portable winch to a tree or a rock on shore and let it pull your boat off the sand bar with little effort on your part.

Of course, our portable winch can be taken to shore to pull the logs you’ll want to burn in your campfire or the rocks to build a shelter.

You can also use the Lewis Winch when you go hunting. Use it to retrieve moose or deer back to your boat without having to quarter the animal and carry it out by hand.

Once back at the boat launch, simply hook the Lewis Winch back on your boat trailer and pull your boat loaded with hunting or fishing gear, as well as the animals and even big logs that you want to take home, right up on your trailer before you drive off.

One of the boat trailer parts all boaters must consider purchasing is a Lewis Winch.

Unlike a hand trailer winch such as the Fulton Winch or the Gorilla Winch, the Lewis Winch is a gas-powered portable winch that many consider to be the most versatile tool that you will ever own.

To use our portable winch, you need to attach it to a chainsaw (without the bar) and then anchor it to something sturdy that weighs more than what you are trying to pull.

Always keep this in mind and you will have no problem pulling anything you need to move.
