Ground Anchor

This light, but tough anchor weighs only 18 lbs and is made of fabricated steel so it will give you many years of trouble free service. It is designed to work with the Lewis Winch Trailer Hitch Mount, which many Lewis Winch owners already have. The back of the Ground Anchor is designed with a handle that makes it easy to carry anywhere with you. That’s where the Lewis Winch Trailer Hitch Mount slides in and the part that remains behind the Ground Anchor sticks out to become a foot hold so you can add your weight to help guide the anchor into the ground. Then simply select one of the many holes provided for different soil conditions, slip in the lock pin and your ready to mount your Lewis Winch and start the pull...no tools required!

To use the Ground Anchor, you need a Trailer Hitch Mount and the Lewis Winch attached to your chainsaw.

Insert the Trailer Hitch Mount Into the Ground Anchor.

Insert pins in one of the holes depending on soil conditions.
Higher holes work best for soft soil.

If the ground is hard and you can’t just push it in with your hands, then use an axe to pound the pound button on the backside of the anchor.

Attach the Lewis Winch on the Trailer Hitch Mount and now you’re ready to start your pull.
