The Lewis Winch Trailer-Hitch mount has a unique quick-connect system. Simply set your Lewis Winch on top of the Trailer-Hitch Mount and slide it forward until the anchor shackle on the bottom of the portable winch fits over the lock-pin. Slide the winch back and lift to remove it, quick and easy and with no tools needed to do that.

Because the Lewis Winch Trailer-Hitch Mount allows your portable winch to swivel, it makes it easy to wind the cable back on the spool evenly. Once your Lewis Winch is locked on to the Trailer-Hitch Mount and you are starting to pull your load, simply turn the Lewis Winch back and forth and the cable will always wind up evenly on the spool.

The Lewis Winch Trailer-Hitch Mount will fit any vehicle with a 2" receiver hitch. Many people have added a 2" receiver hitch to the front or the back of their recreational vehicle. This allows them to use their Lewis Winch Trailer-Hitch Mount on the front or rear of their vehicle, as well as well as on other vehicles that they own.

To use the Ground Anchor, you need a Trailer Hitch Mount and the Lewis Winch attached to your chainsaw.

Insert the Trailer Hitch Mount Into the Ground Anchor.

Insert pins in one of the holes depending on soil conditions.
Higher holes work best for soft soil.

Start up motor and carefully bump throttle while pushing down with your foot on the back of the Trailer Hitch Mount.

Attach the Lewis Winch on the Trailer Hitch Mount and now you’re ready to start your pull.

If the ground is hard and you can’t just push it in with your hands, then use an axe to pound the pound button on the backside of the anchor.

Your Trailer Hitch Mount and the Lewis Winch attached to your chainsaw can also be used with the Lewis Winch Ground Anchor when there is no anchor point in sight.
