| The LEWIS WINCH pulls 4000 lbs with a line speed of 60 ft/min up to 80 ft/min 8000 lbs using a snatch block. It fits all chainsaws Recommended 3 to 7 hp. (50cc to90cc) The 3/16 aircraft cable is galvanized and 150 feet long. 1/8 aircraft cable at 250 feet is also available. |

| Gearbox and drumhousing is one casting. Casting material is Almag (aluminum/magnesium), stronger and lighter. All bearingfits are according to bearing specs and center distance, precise for correct running clearance of the gears, so dismanteling is made easier. Barguide for cutterless chain is one solid piece. Fairlead guide pins are hardened shoulder bolts to extend the lifetime of cable and guide pins. All bolts are socket head cap screws, castings are tapped. New snatch block with bearing and higher rating . universal adaptor kit (included) precision machined. All components of the LEWIS WINCH are CNC machined for precision and will therefore always interchange correctly. Total weight is reduced for the benifit of the opperator and at the same time we increased its strenght. Workmanship is equal to the famous CANNON TREE PLANTER (post hole digger), in service for over 30 years, with no recalls. The LEWIS WINCH will be under the same one year warranty for materials and workmanship. Warranty claims to be judged by distributor and dealer, without the hassle of sending it back to us. We have faith in our distributors & dealers. All parts will be interchangable with previous made winches. Cable spool is precision drilled, as is the shaft, so that a spare spool will just slide on and the pins will fit without having to drill new holes in shaft. The cable hook is of greater strenght. Drive pin in clutch is hardened dowel. The 3/16 aircraft cable has a strenght of 4950 lbs and mill certificates are available upon request. Both 40 pitch sprockets are heat treated. Oil seal added to input shaft. Bronze bushing installed in drive sprocket. Space between cable spool ( drum) and drum housing is smaller to prevent cable from jamming in between. All units will be filled with 4 oz.80-90 weight gear oil. The clutch pin will engage in any of the 6 holes in large sprocket. The LEWIS WINCH is now powder coated |
